About Us
Built on 35 Years of
Our Father's Love
Two brothers. One legacy. A small shop in Ambala that quietly changed the way we see crockery.
A small shop.
An enormous heart.
Long before Crockwitty had a name, a website, or a logo โ there was a modest crockery shop on a busy street in Ambala. Behind its counter stood a man who believed, with every bone in his body, that a beautiful cup of chai could make an ordinary day feel extraordinary.
Our father ran that shop for 35 years. He was not just selling plates and glasses โ he was helping families set their tables, celebrate their festivals, and build their homes. Thousands of families in Ambala know his face. Thousands of kitchens carry his trust.
Every morning before sunrise, he would arrange his shelves with the same care and pride. He taught us that crockery is not just utility โ it is the quiet dignity of everyday life.
"Beta, jo ghar ka bartan sundar hota hai, woh ghar ki raunak hoti hai."โ Papa, Ambala ย ยทย 35 years of wisdom
"Son, beautiful crockery is the soul of a beautiful home."
Two Brothers. One Dream.
Sanyam and Satyam grew up in their father's shop โ stacking shelves, talking to customers, learning what it means to serve with love.
The quiet strategist of the two. Sanyam spent years watching his father serve customers with unmatched patience and care, and always knew that this legacy deserved a bigger stage. He leads Crockwitty's vision โ making sure every product we stock is something Papa would be proud to put on his shelf. When he is not curating collections, he is thinking about the Indian family that will use them.
The creative energy behind Crockwitty. Satyam has an eye for beauty that was sharpened over years of watching his father arrange displays in that Ambala shop. He is the one who obsesses over every product photo, every colour, every design detail โ because he knows that the right cup does not just hold chai, it makes the moment feel special. He believes Crockwitty is not just a store โ it is a feeling.
How Crockwitty Was Born
With little more than a dream and a rented corner shop, our father began selling crockery in Ambala, Haryana. What started as a small business slowly became a beloved institution in the city โ a place families returned to year after year, festival after festival, generation after generation.
Sanyam and Satyam did not go to a business school to learn how to build a brand. They learned it by watching their father. How to greet a customer. How to pick a piece of crockery that feels right in the hand. How to pack an order so carefully it feels like a gift. The shop was our classroom. Papa was our teacher.
As we grew older, we started shopping online โ and we were struck by something that did not make sense. The crockery available online was either cheap and forgettable, or expensive and out of reach for most Indian families. Beautiful, affordable, aesthetic crockery โ the kind our father had always believed every home deserved โ was simply not there. That gap felt personal. We knew what to do.
Crockwitty was born in 2025 โ not as a startup, but as a continuation. We took everything our father had built over 35 years โ his taste, his values, his deep understanding of what Indian families actually want in their homes โ and brought it to every corner of India. The shop may be in Ambala. But the legacy now belongs to the whole country.
The Three Things
Papa Taught Us
Every decision we make at Crockwitty traces back to three lessons from the shop floor in Ambala.
Papa never believed beautiful crockery was only for rich homes. Neither do we. Every product on Crockwitty is chosen so that any Indian family โ in any city โ can have a table they are proud of, without spending a fortune.
A product that breaks after a week is an insult to the customer. Papa hand-checked every piece before it left his shop. We hold Crockwitty to the same standard โ food-safe, durable, and exactly what you see in the photos. Always.
Our father remembered his customers' names, their family occasions, their preferences. We may be online, but we bring that same warmth to every order confirmation, every customer message, every carefully packed box that leaves our door.
When we decided to start Crockwitty, we called Papa to tell him. There was a long silence on the phone. And then he said, "Agar meri niyat saaf thi, toh tumhara kaam zaroor chalega." โ "If my intentions were pure, your work will surely flourish."
We did not build Crockwitty to become the biggest crockery brand in India. We built it because we could not bear the thought of our father's 35 years of knowledge, care, and love sitting quietly in one small shop in one small city.
Every mug you order, every glass you unwrap, every dinner set you place on your table โ it carries a little piece of that Ambala shop with it. It carries Papa's belief that the everyday moments of your life deserve to be beautiful.
Thank you for letting us be part of your home. We don't take that lightly โ not for a single order.
With love and gratitude,
Your home deserves this.
